“Ain’t marrying your best friend the best thing on the World?” Sometimes the best love stories start with a beautiful Friendship. You know when you fell in love with your best friend, it’s the most amazing thing because you know all about that person already and Life will be better. Some movies show how it’s like falling in love with your Best Friend. It’s my personal favorite Genre on Rom Coms. I hope you all like this kind of genre too. So Let’s look at the top 10 Rom Coms about friends fall in love movies, Shall we?

10. What If (2013)

It is a story of a medical school dropout Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe), who had pretty bad relationships in his past love life. So he decided to put his love life on hold for a while but then he meets Chantry (Zoe Kazan) who lives with her long time boyfriend. But when they meet, they form an instant connection between them. They said they’re gonna be best friends but they couldn’t deny the chemistry between them. The things they did when they try to be friends are fun to watch. Then, in the end, the pair made us wonder What If the love of your life is actually your Best Friend???

9. The Ugly Truth (2009)

Well well well it’s the ugly truth! Gerald Butler as Mike Chadway who is a TV star and Katherine Heigl as Abby is another TV producer who doesn’t like Mike’s theories about Love and women. When Mike comes to perform in Abby’s TV show, Abby hated him. But with his humor and his theories, eventually, they become friends. Then Mike wants to prove the accuracy of his relationship theories with Abby. However eventually, they fell in love with each other. Don’t forget to laugh while watching it! We bet you will.

8. Keith (2008)

Natalie has it all figured out for college and she is best at her curricular activities, got some scholarship going on and all. Then there comes Keith as a lab partner who’s an unpredictable and troubled kid. He gets her out of her comfort zone. In her mind, she tried to keep him away but in her heart, she couldn’t resist him. The friendship kinda turns out to be more than that. Shh! he has a secret.

7. Made of Honor (2008)

Tom (Patrick Dempsey) and Hannah (Michelle Monaghan) are best friends from college. Tom is a businessman in New York and he has some girl habits. Then Hannah went to Ireland for 6 weeks where she met Collin, a super-rich duke in Ireland. Then Hannah will get married to Collin and requires Tom to be her maid of honor. But Tom finally realizes that he was in love with Hannah and he helps her with her wedding plans and goes to Ireland to confess his love for her before she marries Collin. A super funny romantic comedy to watch. Hope you laugh so hard at this story.

6. Just Friends (2005)

Ryan Reynolds as Chris Brander has been in love with Jamie Palamino (Amy Smart) from childhood. But when he tied to be more than friends, she said she wants to be ‘Just Friends’. Then he runs away and moves to LA and becomes a music manager and he becomes attractive and every girl wants him. One day due to some flight problems he landed in his home with his kinda girlfriend Samantha James. Now he meets Jamie again and decided to be more than friends this time. 

5. Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008)

Zack (Seth Rogen) and Miri (Elizabeth Bangs) are best friends from first grade. And they are broke roommates and about to lose the roof over their heads. So they think of ways to pay the bills and making an adult video together can solve the problem, they thought. So when they’re about to do that, they realize that they actually have feelings for each other. Kinda fun to watch!

4. Friends with Benefits (2011)

A New York-based recruitment executive, Jamie (Mia Kunis) asks Dylan (Justin Timberlake) to take a Job in GQ magazine. But both became friends from the start and they take their friendship to the next level with benefits (if you know what I mean). But they realize that sex always complicates things and friends got emotionally attached and became lovers, with a massive Grand Central mob proposal. Who wouldn’t like that right?

3. When Harry Met Sally (1989)

Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) are friends for years. This film is the Originals of friends turned to lovers kind of movies. Both of them search for love but fail and bumping into each other from time to time. A close friendship blooms between them and they like having an opposite-sex friend.  And a brief moment in bed ruins everything and until Harry went to Sally and confess his love and kisses her. Such a masterpiece isn’t it?

2. One Day (2011)

Anne Hathaway as Emma Morley and Dexter (Jim Sturgess) are introduced on July 15th, 1988 at their college graduation. They form a friendship that lasts a lifetime. They have the best friendship in movies and they decided to meet every year on July 15. Together and apart, they go through fights, hops and laughter, and tears. After 18 years, they feel that they’re actually meant to be together. One Day is so good to watch which shows a long-term friendship turned into Love. You’ll love it.

1. Love, Rosie (2014)

When it comes to Rom-coms, Love, Rosie is the best one to watch. Alex (Sam Claflin) and Rosie (Lilly Collins) are best friends from 5th grade. Alex leaves for Bosten and Rosie stays in England. They go through relationships and breakups and more. They make bad decisions throughout times, being in love with the wrong people, and keep missing each other. After a lot of mess, they realize they’re actually made for each other. A cute love story with some twists in between. It’s a must-watch in our opinion. You won’t regret it.
