Well Fist of all, I’m gonna start with a question here! There are two kinds of people in this world, Hopeless romantics and Realists. What about you? Are you a hopeless romantic or a realist?

In this blog, I’m listing some of the best romance movies which are so underrated. If you haven’t watched or heard any of these movies, I recommend you to watch these movies because these are super duper amazing! Trust me, you’ll love it I promise! 10. Man Up

This is a story of a 34-year-old single woman, Nancy who pretends to be Jake’s blind date. Jake is a 40-year-old divorcee who’s supposed to meet Jessica as his blind date. Then they both go on a date and it turns out to be the best night of their lives. But Jake finds out later about Nancy and now they have to face the consequences
This is a movie about taking chances, finding yourself, making decisions, and rolling with the consequences.

9. Penelope

It’s a fantasy romance movie where Penelope is born with the nose of a Pig. In order to break the curse, she has to find one true love who accepts her as she is. She’s locked in her estate to avoid the hate from society. She got rejected by every single bachelor in her area. One day Johny shows up and he changes everything by falling in love with her.

8. Before We Go

here in this underrated romance movie, A woman misses the train from New York to Boston and a street musician Chris spends the night trying to help her make it back home. Throughout the night they learn a lot about one another and eventually find a romance. but after the day’s over, what would they do? will they keep up with the romance? or did they go separate ways?

7. Ruby Sparks

Zoe Kazan’s movies are really underrated. She’s the queen of underrated romance. Well, what if you write something and that comes to life? Here in this story, an author Calvin writes about his dream girl, and the next day she comes to life as Ruby. How can you believe that right? but she was real and they both have a beautiful relationship together. If something goes wrong, all he has to do is to type the words on the typewriter and that’s it. Everything is perfect now!

6. Definitely Maybe

Will tries to explain his past relationships to his daughter Maya, who wants to know about how her parents met and fell in love. Will tells her the story by changing the names of his past 3 girlfriends and Maya has to find out who her mom is. Whom would it be? Is it Emily or Summer or April? And it has a happy ending tho!

5. The Spectacular Now

Sutter is a high school senior and he’s so happy with his life and he lives in the Now. One day, after dumbed by her girlfriend, he meets Amiee on a stranger’s lawn after passing out. Amiee has plans for the future and Sutter lives in a delusion of spectacular now. Yet somehow, they both are so in love and now they have to face the reality.

4. Flipped

Well here comes the cute little pure love story! Bryce and July are neighbors and when July meets Bryce for the first time in the second grade, she knows it’s love but cute little Bryce is not sure about it. Then after six years, When July thought of giving up, Bryce starts to fall for her!

3. Letters to Juliet

Sophie and her boyfriend Victor go to Italy for a vacation where Sophie writes back a letter which has been submitted 50 years ago. After getting the letter, Sophie and Clair want to find Lorenzo but her grandson Chalie doesn’t like the idea. Eventually, they find Lorenzo, 50 years later and Charlie proposes to Sophie on a balcony. So romantic, isn’t it?

2. Stuck in Love

There are actually two kinds of people in this world, Hopeless romantics and realists. In this story, A writer couldn’t write anything after his divorce and has two children to deal with. Rusty is kind of a hopeless romantic who falls in love with Kate for the first time. On the other hand, Samantha is so cynical about love. This movie is basically about first loves, second chances, and heartbreaks.

1. One Day

Emma Morley and Dexter meet on July 15th, 1988 on their college graduation. They form a beautiful friendship between them and they decided to meet every year on July 15. Together and apart, they go through fights, laughter, and tears. After 18 years, they feel that they’re actually meant to be together. One Day is so good to watch, this movie shows a long-term friendship turned into Love. You’ll love it, I promise. P.S Make sure you have some tissues for the end.
